Background Information:

As per Board request, I have researched and compiled the attached Obion County Schools School Support Organization Guidelines. The intent of the request and the Guidelines are to make financial accountability and internal operations of the System’s school support organizations more consistent. Based on intensive research, these Guidelines contain the most common and best practices for the operation of school support organizations, as well as example documents that all schools support organizations will be required to utilize. These Guidelines are being distributed for informational purposes only. A formal vote of the Board will be on the December agenda.
